Access controls

The Access controls section controls how recipients can access shared content.

Require password

When enabled, you set a password in the next step, and recipients must enter that password to access the send.

• File sends: recipients need the password to download files.
• Secure messages: recipients need the password to view the message.

Require email verification

When enabled, each recipient must verify their email address before access.

• File sends: recipients verify before downloading files.
• Secure messages: recipients verify before viewing the message.

Restrict recipients

When enabled, only the listed email addresses or domains can access the send.

This requires email verification to be enabled.

Editing an existing send

Access controls are fixed after creation and cannot be changed later.
