Max downloads
The Max downloads field when creating a new send allows you to limit the total number of downloads allowed for a secure send link.
This limits the total number of downloads, which means the recipient of the link must click through to initiate the download before the count is incremented. Just visiting the secure link does not increment the count, the download must be started.
TIP
If a secure link is sent to multiple recipients ensure there are sufficient allowed views for all intended recipients.
Once this limit has passed, the send link is no longer accessible to download the content.
The expiry details of each send is shown in the Expires column in the Sent files page. This includes both the maximum views and the expiry time, and reaching either will expire the send.
The allowed range of Max downloads values depends on your subscription or Enterprise tenant configuration.
